I had a great grandfather who was my best friend. He was tough on me when I needed it. He helped me when it was right. He let me figure things out so I could handle things on my own. He set what to me was a perfect example. That country music song about a grandfather which said, "I thought that he walked on water" That was my great grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him.

Post a story here to honor your grandfather or great grandfather or great great grandfather, etc.
